How did they meet?

From social media to forever. After years of admiration from afar, Dean decided to shoot his shot with Celeste via social media DM’s. Five months passed with no luck. Little did he know, he was stuck in the back of Celeste’s mind until she eventually decided to reach out, asking if the offer still stood.

Their first date followed two days later and have been inseparable ever since.

The Proposal

“Our proposal was the most magical day”, said Celeste.

As a photographer himself, Dean understood the importance of this moment being captured. Thinking outside the box, he set up a “photoshoot” styled completely by the photographer, location and all. After an hour of shooting, in the very last pose, Celeste turned around to see Dean on one knee with their entire family behind, cheering them on.

“It was so special to have them all there for this moment. It’s truly a day I’ll treasure forever”

Inspiration

No glitz, no glamour, just clean, modern and romantic. Just…timeless. Shortly after walking into the perfectly blank canvas of the Brick at Blue Star Complex, Celeste and Dean’s eyes lit up in excitement with the endless possibilities racing through their mind of what this space could be.

Both being born and raised in San Antonio, this couple wanted a space that felt special. They wanted to feel the city around them, yet create a party for family and friends to feel welcomed. This venue was so unique, so intimate, so perfect for Celeste and Dean.

Unique Elements

Celeste and Dean appreciated the closeness of everyone celebrating their special day together.

“It was like a room filled with nothing but family”.

They included their favorite mariachi’s along with a DJ, disposable cameras and polaroid’s. As a “tequila drinking bunch”, personalized Clase Azul bottles were a must. Lastly, and their favorite, was the art work from Cruz Ortiz that was displayed around the reception hall.
