How They Met

Karley took a 4.5-hour drive home from her college to see a Koe Wetzel concert with her friend. Karley and Hayden met for the first time that Friday night, and the pair had a connection leaving Karley excited to see Hayden the next night at the show and Hayden to text Karley’s friend to say, ” Karley seems pretty cool.” At the concert, the pair hit it off and have been a part of each other’s lives since dating each other for 2.5 years before getting engaged on April 24, 2021.

The Proposal

After 2 months of planning, Karley’s family came to visit for German fest. The group made plans for the girls to visit a winery and the boys to go golfing. The boys decided to stop by the winery for food after a day of golfing. Once Hayden and the boys arrived, everyone decided they should take a group photo, and when Karley attempted to walk away, Kelsey said, “Oh, look up at the tree!” When I turned around, Hayden was down on a knee!

The Wedding

The couple was married in Hayden’s hometown, Muenster, TX. After having difficulty finding a venue between San Antonio and Muenster to accommodate their anticipated 600 guests, the couple decided to have Heritage Park Event Center as their wedding venue.
