Sabrina and Matthew met through mutual friends. Her being an O’Connor Panther and he a Marshall Ram, the two seemed destined for rivalry. Far from it, the two quickly drew to each other. They saw one another through failed relationships, life’s hardships, and always seemed to be each other’s light.

A Surprise Proposal

Matthew asked Sabrina to take photos to gift his mother at the San Antonio Japanese Tea Gardens for his 22nd birthday. As the two went on, an innocent bystander almost blew Matthew’s cover. Before he could, Matthew jumped at the opportunity and asked, “Would you like to spend the rest of your life with me?” Sabrina, speechless, stared in wonder, as Matthew was already on one knee!

A Unique Wedding

The two married at The Oaks at Heavenly, which ensured a romantic evening. If the décor seems unique, it’s because it is! Sabrina had a great time creating and incorporating DIY elements into her wedding. However, the vendors that worked with the couple orchestrated the perfect farmhouse-chic look that Sabrina wanted.

The floral design by HEB Blooms flowed from the ceremony aisle to the human-sized cross Sabrina’s uncle handcrafted. The floral design worked in perfect harmony with the natural, whimsical environment venue provides.
