Well, hey there Bridal Babes! My name is Kat, and I am so excited to be the new host of your favorite local wedding podcast and YouTube show, Bridal Buzz. While I may be the new host, you can still expect episodes with wedding inspiration and heartwarming love stories weekly. Before you listen to our next episode on your next road trip or snuggle up on the couch watching our latest youtube video, here are a few things you should know about me:

1. I am a musician and performer at heart

By the age of three, I was in my first musical. Since then, I have had the pleasure of performing in 15-20 musicals, was a competitive cheerleader for six years, and performed and released original music with a band called Jade Vine in Austin, Texas.

2. I’ve been planning my wedding on Pinterest since I was at least 14

I’m not joking about this. Growing up, I had such a romanticized view of love and longed for that Disney fairytale story. While my personal love life didn’t quite blossom until I was in university, I still had dreams, and Pinterest didn’t care whether or not I was the most pursued girl in the room. I am now in the most beautiful relationship of 5 1/2 years and hope to be putting that Pinterest board to work very soon!

3. I’ve lived in Texas my whole life.

Texas is home, and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. I had the pleasure of growing up in Houston and attending university in Austin. Now I have the pleasure of embarking on a new exciting journey here in San Antonio. I root for the Texans regardless of how good they do, and I don’t let anyone talk smack about the lone star state. #TexasDoesitBetter

4. San Antonio Weddings + Bridal Buzz have been home for the past year

Last November, I was brought onto the team here at San Antonio Weddings and Bridal Buzz. I’ve been able to witness so many breathtaking moments and see what makes love the strongest force in the universe. On top of that, I have met so many incredible local wedding vendors and love hearing their passion for what they do.

5. I want to help you have the most magical day possible!

The most amazing part about what we do here at San Antonio Weddings and Bridal Buzz is helping local couples get matched up with the best local vendors in the industry. It brings me so much joy to know that I have the opportunity to help make your wedding planning process a little bit easier, and a little bit more enjoyable!
