How They Met
| We met each other my freshmen year of high school (the bride) from the moment I met him I knew he was going to be a part of my life forever. We have been through ups and downs together; from tackling high school together and beginning our adult life’s with one another. We are truly each other’s other halves that we both were missing. |
The Proposal
| He surprised me with a photoshoot and asked his cousin to capture the moment at the McNay. Here I was thinking that we were just taking Spring photos, he takes me over to the koi pond and gazebo area at the McNay and proceeds to kneel down on one knee. At first, I was in disbelief and thought he was joking but then he pulled out that ring box. I was instantly in tears, while my heart was also racing. After the beautiful proposal, we proceeded to a surprise engagement party held by our families. |
The Bling
The ring is beautifully pear-shaped and is from Zales.
The Special Dress & Venue
| I got my dress at Bridal Connections and found it when Randy Fenoli came into town for his trunk show for his new bridal collection, Deepest Devotions.
The venue is The Oaks at Heavenly. It is a beautiful venue with an outdoor ceremony site including a fully decorated gazebo, and an indoor reception area. The owner is absolutely amazing, super accommodating, and will work with every couple to create their wedding dreams. |
