Fiesta San Antonio

This styled shoot, hosted by Circle J Ranch, was inspired by the long running tradition of Fiesta in San Antonio. Since its inception in 1981, Fiesta has been celebrated every year in San Antonio to honor the heroes of the Alamo and Battle of San Jacinto. The nearly two-week long “fiesta” takes place all over the city, from south to north, and east to west. The sound of music can be heard from street corners, the aroma of freshly made barbecue and turkey legs fill the air, and vibrant colors hang from buildings in the form of papel picado and the papel crowns on ongoer’s heads.

The photographer, Griselda, was chosen as her style fit perfectly to San Antonio’s longest tradition. She was able to bring Fiesta to life. She made each of the colors pop as they do on the streets of San Antonio.
