Opposites Attract!

Wedding Story

How did you meet?

Paige and John met online through a mutual friend on Facebook. They became friends instantly! Although they went to different high schools and did not live nearby, they did not actually meet until John had graduated and Paige was a senior in high school. One morning, John offered Paige a ride to school on his way to work in New Braunfels. They were both so nervous and he didn’t say a single word the whole way there. Later that same week they had their first date, a classic dinner and a movie.
Afterwards, Paige’s mom texted John from Paige’s iPad because Paige was not on board yet. John opened up more over text, but it was obvious Paige was the more outgoing one of the two.
You know what they say…opposites attract!

Tell us about the proposal!

After almost 7 years of dating, John finally put a ring on it!

“There is the story we tell family and there is another story we tell close friends. The public story is that we went to the river with his family and staged photos beforehand where he proposed in front of them…. The private story is that John proposed the night before at home!”

What inspired the design or theme of your wedding day?

Paige says that her vendors inspired the design and theme of her wedding.
“I browsed their social media pages nonstop to see their work and they we my inspiration”

Why did you choose the venue and vendors you did?

Three days post op, Hannah from Sendera Springs came up to Paige’s mom and her in Boerne and gave them her card. The researched the venue when they got home and immediately booked a tour. For them, it was no question the right venue.
Paige absolutely loved her vendors. She continuously clicked on photos from the same vendors, so she knew…
“It also helped that they were all so supportive and so nice!”, Paige said.

Did any of your vendors exceed your expectations? Share details!

In Paige and John’s opinion, every single vendor exceeded their expectations! They thoroughly enjoyed their vendors and felt like they became friends with a lot of them! Paige let them all run with their own ideas or interpretations and she thought they did an incredible job with everything!
