Guadalajara Grill – In La Villita Historic Arts Village in the heart of downtown San Antonio.

Established in 1991, The Guadalajara Grill specializes in traditional cuisine from Old Mexico and is located in the stately McAllister Building which was built in 1854. The inviting atmosphere of the Grill is the perfect space for Weddings and Rehearsal Dinners of up to 99 guests.

The Private Dining Room is on the second floor above the restaurant. Its charming ambiance is created by the original limestone walls, hardwood floors, and numerous paned windows displaying views of La Villita, the Tower of the Americas and Hemisfair Park.

Recently remodeled, the room has a distinctive handcrafted Bar constructed from native mesquite and cedar woods. A dramatic cascade of several hundred imported blown-glass crystals in hues of red, green and blue is suspended from the ceiling the entire length of the room. On the ceiling, there is a series of handscripted verses, poems and lyrics adding to the romantic setting. A mirrored wall treatment gives the space a contemporary touch.
