Canyon Springs’ two waterfall areas are where dreams come true! They are perfect for doing bridal portraits. For an extra fee, you can reserve a waterfall area for your ceremony site or cocktail hour. The waterfall sites, when booked for an event, not only come with the relaxing sound of the water cascading over the rock and the breathtaking view of it all, but also with a battery-powered sound system and shuttle service. The shuttle service to and from the waterfalls comes at no additional charge for a crowd of up to 150, and you’ll even get to see the two longhorns on the property during your ride. “I think the out-of-state visitors certainly enjoy our ˜pets” and the hill country setting that we provide,” said Brenda Willis, Director of Sales at Canyon Springs. The smaller of the two waterfall sites gives way to a more intimate setting with low-lying tree limbs and a cozy lawn area. The larger waterfall location is more grand and offers additional room for accommodating a larger crowd – it even has two waterfalls. The beauty of these waterfalls is that you can’t go wrong with whichever one you choose.
For an indoor setting, Canyon Springs has an equally attractive pair of options. Its two buildings for hosting events, the Pavilion and the Club House, feature French doors, stone walls, high ceilings, an adjacent patio and a spacious lawn. The indoor/outdoor combined max capacity for the Pavilion is 550 guests, with an indoor-only max of 200.
The Pavilion has an extra room that can be used for different purposes like a dressing room before the ceremony and later on it can be flipped into a buffet room for the reception.
The indoor/outdoor combined max capacity for the Club House is 400 guests, with an indoor-only max of 100. The Club House also has a working fireplace ideal for those crisp, winter weddings. The patio and lawn surrounding these buildings are great for lawn games and an outdoor dance floor that can be tented if desired. The trees are equipped with lights, turning any evening event into an enchanting affair. “Generally, for everyone holding an event here, it’s for fun,” Brenda added.
When you book your event at Canyon Springs, they can provide tables, chairs, standard linens, plate ware, flatware, glassware and onsite service staff, which includes bartending, catering for plated or buffet meals, cake cutting and cleanup. You will have peace of mind knowing that there are banquet captains overseeing the setup of your event and managing the arrival of vendors throughout the process.
