In the fall of 2021, we partnered up with a group of incredible wedding vendors to give away a dream proposal to one lucky couple in San Antonio. This collaboration all took place thanks to Lizette at From His Garden. Her idea brought this group together and eventually led to an incredibly magic night for Ruben and Heather, our winners.
Heather and Ruben work together at H-E-B and though they worked in different departments, she still caught his eye. Who says love at first sight doesn’t exist?

We all dream of the perfect proposal and this defines it! After working for months in advance with Lizette at From His Garden on the planning, Ruben took Heather downtown to the Hotel Valencia where she would see flower petals covering the floor, candles surrounded them, and huge marquee letters that said “Marry Me.” Ruben got down on one knee and the rest was history. The gorgeous ring was provided by Diamonds Direct, and the moment was magically captured in photo and video form by the incredibly talented Jersson Luna Photography.
