Fresh Horizons Creative Catering isproud to be the exclusive caterer at the Japanese Tea Garden and the historic Jingu House. Since 1981, Fresh Horizons has been serving San Antonio and South Texas.

The Garden is the most romantic, unique and picturesque garden located in San Antonio. Adjacent to Brackenridge Park, the Tea Gardens feature beautiful floral displays, a waterfall and a safe habitat for new Koi and aquatic plants. It is an extraordinary example of the ruse of an old rock quarry which dates back to 1899 and remnants can still be seen in the garden’s architecture.

The Japanese Tea Garden, or Sunken Gardens, is a registered Texas historical landmark. The garden opened in an abandoned limestone rock quarry in the early 20th century. It was known also as Chinese Tea Gardens, Chinese Tea Garden Gate, Chinese Sunken Garden Gate and is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

This outdoor venue is perfect for an intimate ceremony or elegant gala under the stars for up to 300 guests.

Daytime Wedding Ceremonies:
The Japanese Tea Gardens offers three wonderful locations for your Wedding Ceremony:
– The Waterfall for up to 10 guests

– The Lower Garden for up to 20 guests

– The Pagoda for up to 50 guests

Evening Weddings;
The enchanting Japanese Tea Garden becomes a private location for your wedding ceremony and reception.  Host an intimate affair or gala event for up to 300 under the stars.

The Jingu House
Experience the romance of the Japanese Tea Garden and an afternoon luncheon.  The Jingu House Café is the perfect location for an intimate luncheon. Luncheon menu features Sandwiches & Light Snacks or Traditional Bento Box luncheon available.

The Jingu House is available for evening receptions and parties. Host your event in the Lambert Room, the Patio or simply make a reservation.
