The Jack Guenther Pavilion possesses several unique areas ideal for any celebration, but it’s the space’s prime location, sophisticated design and cultural ties that make this new venue so desirable.

“The Jack Guenther Pavilion is located right across from Arneson Theatre and La Villita on the River Walk and within a short walk from reputable hotels like the Hilton Palacio del Rio and the Hotel Contessa,” Sonya says. “It’s especially spectacular during the holidays when the trees are sparkling and the holiday spirit is surrounding the venue in downtown San Antonio. The beauty of the River Walk during the holidays just makes the venue space even more beautiful.”

The McNutt Courtyard

Paved with flagstone, surrounded by a live oak trees and native plants, the McNutt Courtyard is speckled with character in every corner. An Italian pergola creates a raised stage area perfect for a ceremony or entertainment during the reception. Plenty of electrical sources throughout the grounds provide adequate components for several entertainment options. Built in anchors for tenting provide the ultimate convenience and make sure the space can be used throughout the year.

The McNutt Courtyard is the perfect fit for receptions, ideal for outdoor ceremonies or a cocktail hour. Its lush landscaping, cool breezes and striking presence offer the perfect backdrop to say “I do.”

River View Room

For the couple looking for a contemporary space with little or no need for additional décor, the Riverview Room is ideal. With direct access to the McNutt Courtyard and the River Walk, this spacious, first floor space is perfect for events up to 500 guests. Its high ceilings, expansive windows and modern horizontal-planked walls highlight the venue’s exquisite architectural detail.

With easy access to the McNutt Courtyard, guests can enjoy an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception with ease.

The Gallery

The Gallery is located on the second floor of the Jack Guenther Pavilion and provides the perfect space for cocktails, a lounge area or even a holding space for entertainment and the wedding party. Neutral tones and natural light provides a nice backdrop for a celebration of up to 350 seated guests. The Gallery is perfect when combined with any of the other three event spaces for larger events.

City Overlook Room

Set above the treetops on the third floor of the Jack Guenther Pavilion, the City Overlook Room features stunning architectural design and an exquisite birds-eye view of downtown and the River Walk. Natural light streams in from the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows surrounding the entire space and the forged mansard-style roof provides a refined elegance communicating a unique feeling of bringing the beautiful outdoors in.
