Renaissance Architecture in the Hill Country

Dreaming of a wedding with old-world charm and luxurious Renaissance beauty? Then The Dominion Country Club may just be the venue of your dreams with its distinctive domed roofline, gold-leafed cupolas, breathtaking hand-carved Cantera stone columns, and classic architecture set in the picturesque Hill Country.

Boasting arched floor-to ceiling windows, courtyard views of rolling hills, and an array of specialty facilities and elegant event spaces, The Dominion offers tranquility, space, exclusivity, and unmatched personal service. A team of wedding planning pros works tirelessly to ensure all of your expectations are met and your dreams become reality.

Brides and grooms can customize their wedding packages to their liking, opting to bring in their own vendors or choosing to have The Dominion take care of every last detail. Menu options are endless with the on-site chef, and with a seasoned culinary and service staff, client satisfaction is priority.

“Unlike a lot of places that have set menus and pricing, we can customize any of our packages and menus to create the perfect all-inclusive package,” says Catering Director Jennifer Wright.

The Dominion can also provide all of your linens, tables, and chairs, not to mention complimentary parking for your guests. “We are now offering packages that make us a one-stop shop,” Jennifer says. “This makes it easy for busy couples who don’t have time between jobs and life to plan a wedding. That’s how my wedding was, and I want to offer that same peace of mind to my clients.”

This bride (and groom) are in the center of the action with friends and family enjoyng their first dance as husband and wife at The Dominion.

Couples can even take advantage of hosting other events on-site such as rehearsal dinners and morning-after brunches. And the clubhouse only hosts one event per day, so brides and grooms have all-day access and endless options on their special day.

“Unlike a lot of country clubs, Members have a separate entrance, ensuring no one disturbs your event,” says Jennifer, who offers 12-hour rentals, allowing plenty of time for vendors to set up, as well as exclusivity. “You are the only wedding happening on that day. Our couples are our single focus.”

Newlyweds-to-be can rent half of the clubhouse or the entire clubhouse, depending on their guest list. And The Dominion’s outdoor Northern Terrace is an idyllic ceremony setting with a fountain feature and tiered seating area showcasing exceptional views of the lush landscape shaded by old oak trees.

For intimate weddings of up to 150 guests, couples can opt for the smaller package including the Northern Terrace, Wine Room, Main Ballroom with dance floor, and Gourmet Room, an indoor ceremony space used in inclement weather. While for couples with up to 425 guests, the entire clubhouse is ideal with all of the half-clubhouse amenities, plus bonus spaces such as the Mixed Grille, second ballroom with a full built-in bar, and piano lounge with two grand pianos that can easily be moved inside or out.

Having recently undergone a $3.5 million renovation, The Dominion continues to exceed its already renowned reputation by adding even more amenities and facilities for its clients and Members, including a 3,000-square-feet catering space as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center, golf shop, and restaurant and bar.

As one of San Antonio’s premier wedding venues in a sophisticated Hill Country setting, The Dominion Country Club is everything a couple could dream of on their wedding day—lavishness, exclusivity, service, and amenities.
