Say "I Do" to the Rustic Elegance
of Sendera Springs
Rolling Hills of South Texas
Imagine a golden sunset over a crystal blue lake with the lush, rolling hills of South Texas in the background. Now imagine yourself saying “I do,” to the love of your life amid this picturesque setting, surrounded by family and friends.
Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, Sendera Springs wedding venue is 56 acres of natural beauty. From its breathtaking outdoor vistas to the spacious interior with its stone and wood accents, it’s the stuff that Texas bridal dreams are made of.
“Our venue is for the bride who is looking for an authentic Hill Country wedding,” says Hannah Plucheck, venue manager. “It’s got that rustic, elegant charm.”
A former first grade teacher and current bride-to-be, Plucheck and her family purchased the Kerrville property in 2019 and began transforming it into a first class wedding and reception venue. The grand opening in February 2020 was a testament to the family’s hard work and attention to detail.
Ceremonies are held outside on the terrace overlooking the 10-acre lake, while two indoor areas provide plenty of options for hosting receptions. The grand hall, which comfortably accommodates 300 people, was designed to incorporate elements of the surrounding hill country with stone floors, wood ceilings and accents, white walls, and iron chandeliers.
“It provides a really pretty backdrop that just needs some floral touches for the bride to make it her own,” describes Plucheck.
A floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace is flanked by wooden barn doors that open to provide an easy flow for a buffet or, if the bride prefers a more formal, seated dinner, round tables with ivory linens and cross back chairs can be configured to her liking.
Smaller, more intimate receptions can be held in the cocktail room, which, like the grand hall, is home to a stunning floor-to ceiling stone fireplace. This is the perfect atmosphere for drinks, appetizers, and mingling with the bridal party.
Décor and ambiance aside, what truly sets Sendera Springs apart is the service. Drawing on her experience as a “wedding hostess” at Chandelier Grove in her hometown of Tomball, Texas, Plucheck made sure that no amenity was overlooked. A large bridal suite is resplendent in pink and gold, with pink velvet couches and a flower wall with a neon sign that reads, “All you need is love.”
“That wall is Instagram ready,” laughs Plucheck.
