Paloma Blanca
Mexican Cuisine
Sights, Sounds & Flavors of Mexico

It’s always nice to be able to get away – to relax as you enjoy the warm hospitality and traditions of other cultures.
With its whispering palms, flowering landscape and hacienda-inspired architecture, Paloma Blanca Mexican Cuisine is truly an oasis for the mind and spirit, right in the heart of Alamo Heights. But, sample their diverse menu, and you will find that Paloma Blanca delivers on the promise of their surroundings—delectable Mexican cuisine.
While this restaurant has been attracting locals desiring the varied sights, sounds and flavors of Mexico, Paloma Blanca has also worked with many couples that were wishing to host a “casual upscale”affair. In fact, among its 7,700 square feet of sophisticated and versatile spaces are several private dining rooms and terraces to select from in order to create just the right rehearsal dinner, wedding reception or wedding ceremony.
Nuptial couples will appreciate the essence of Mexico captured in Salón el Jardín (the Garden Room), which features a fifteen foot high ceiling and gorgeous slate wall treatment, with a copper railing upon which tea lights may be set. Perfect for seated groups up to 55 people or a reception-style event for up to 75, this space offers privacy, access to the cozy bar area and warm ambience.
Salón la Fuente (the Fountain Room), located off the main dining hall, features a remarkable brick-and-copper wall fountain which can be adorned with the flicker of scattered candlelight. In this space, couples may host a maximum of 55 seated guests or 75 guests for a reception-style event. Couples who need to accommodate larger guest lists, however, can request the adjoining dining room which permits 110 people for a seated dinner or 150 guests for a reception-style event. In addition, Salón la Fuente boasts access to the beautiful upper terrace which features blooming flowers and a flowing, illuminated fountain, the perfect backdrop for a cocktail reception or additional seating for up to 40 guests.

Whichever space best suits your event, Richard Peacock Jr., president of Paloma Blanca Mexican Cuisine, believes that brides and grooms will be even more impressed with their superb service. “Our staff is focused on the details” says Richard. “We are here to ensure that hosting an event at Paloma Blanca is enjoyable and easy, and this requires taking excellent care of our guests throughout the entire experience.”
Indeed, Peacock and his Vice President and General Manager Nelly Mendoza are dedicated to service that goes beyond the call of duty in order to make bridal celebrations extra special. In keeping with their commitment to planning an event that will be unforgettable, Peacock and his staff provide a number of custom offerings such as specialty linens, floral displays and coordination of other services including music and specialty decorations.
Still, while the surroundings and service are impressive, Paloma Blanca’s affinity to please the palate is also what keeps the crowds coming back. Beef, chicken and fish specialties from various regions of Mexico are well represented on their menu, as are the more traditional favorites such as several types of enchiladas, fajitas and chiles rellenos.
“From our atmosphere to our cuisine and service, we assure you that your experience at Paloma Blanca will be a pleasure,” says Nelly. “Our goal is for everyone to feel at home and for each host to enjoy themselves every bit as much as their guests will.”
If your wedding plans include an off-site location, Paloma Blanca Mexican Cuisine can offer you and your guests the ultimate escape to Mexico through their superb catering services and logistical planning for your event. So whether it’s at their house or yours, to celebrate amidst the sights, sounds, and flavors of Mexico, Paloma Blanca Mexican Cuisine is always worth the trip.
