Fresh Petals and Upscale Designs

When brides step into Freesia Designs, floral fragrances greet them like a sweet bouquet. After all, the florist has earned a reputation for offering some of the freshest petals in San Antonio and the Hill Country. Freesia Designs is also known for creating upscale designs customized to fit a bride’s budget.
“We offer gorgeous flowers at amazing prices,” says Jessica Linares, owner and master florist of Freesia Designs. “And because we are family-owned and operated, we oversee every detail of design and customer service.”
A Perfect Match
Jessica and the shop’s other expert floral designers help brides choose blooms to match their wedding palette—from dramatic hues to soft pastels to elegant whites. A bride may imagine herself holding a bouquet of white calla lilies, sitting at a reception table adorned with passionate red roses, or cutting a cake decorated with cascading green cymbidium orchids, just to name a few.
Once a bride selects her main flower, Jessica and her staff suggest additional floral varieties, greenery, and accessories that will uniquely accentuate the arrangements.
“I love creating beauty for a bride’s big day,” she says. “Part of our success is listening to our customers’ wishes and providing artistic inspiration that fulfills their vision, whether they prefer classic styles, modern arrangements, or something in between.”
When brides meet Jessica in her Stone Oak shop, they are welcomed to bring photos of their ideal wedding flowers. For more ideas, she shows them picture books that display a myriad of blossom designs and colors for every wedding occasion.
Freesia Designs has experience working in many respected venues in the San Antonio, Boerne, New Braunfels, and Austin areas, so its floral designers consider the special ambience of each ceremony and reception setting.

Stunning Selection
Jessica was inspired after visiting the breathtaking landscapes of Tuscany, Italy, with her family, but her experience in pretty petals began as a child when she worked in her mother’s floral shop.
In fact, her family has been in the floral business for 65 years and has built strong relationships with growers located in places such as Ecuador, Colombia, and Holland.
“We deal directly with the farmers, so we are very selective in the products we choose,” Jessica says. “Better yet, we are able to offer extremely competitive prices to our customers.”
One very reasonably-priced Freesia Designs bridal package features many of the floral elements needed for the wedding day, including the bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids; boutonnieres for the groom, groomsmen, and fathers; a decorated basket for the flower girl; altar and pew arrangements for the ceremony; and reception centerpieces.
As an added value to its flowers, Freesia Designs does not charge for accessories such as glass vases and cylinders, pedestals, arches, manzanita branches, rhinestone embellishments, and crystal votive holders.
“Flowers are some of the most photographed items in a wedding,” Jessica says. “That’s why we start with lovely blooms and make sure they are accompanied with the richness, texture, and design that will leave a wonderful lasting impression.”
