San Antonio Celebrates Love
Estancia Del Norte Your Wedding Venue
The Setting
Alive with timeless beauty, the Estancia del Norte seamlessly weaves the original Hispanic culture and architecture that brought it to life in 1978 with true Texas hospitality and charm. Located in the heart of San Antonio the property is situated across the street from luxury retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue and is just minutes from historic downtown and the famous Riverwalk. However, once guests enter the property, they may never want to leave.
The airy, open lobby draws guests in with its comfortable seating and gathering spaces for mingling and enjoying a signature cocktail from the expansive lobby bar, Paseo. The outdoor courtyard is perfect for sipping, snacking, and soaking up the Texas sun. No detail has been overlooked in creating the hotel’s “upscale ranch” feel, from the local art that graces the walls, to the iron light fixtures, and archways that harken to the hotel’s original architecture. The vibe is luxurious, yet welcoming, and it invites guests to relax and stay awhile.
The Suite Life
While guests are enjoying the atmosphere, the wedding party is enjoying the “suite” life with rooms designed for pampering, primping, and preparing for the big day.
“The thing that sets us apart as a wedding venue is our bridal suites,” says Teresa Valenzuela, director of sales. “They provide a great atmosphere for the bridal party to congregate and get ready.”
The bride and her attendants have more than 1400 square feet of space in the Dahlia Lounge in which to relax and prepare for the ceremony. Bathed in bridal beauty, the room is outfitted with a dressing room, plenty of vanities, and large windows with unobstructed views of a private courtyard. In contrast, the nearly 1900 square foot Leddy Ranch room is a study in masculinity with plenty of entertainment including a pool table, bar, and television sets for the groom and his buddies to enjoy.
The Ceremony
For the bride who wants to pledge her love under a Texas sky, the lush, interior courtyard at the Estancia Del Norte has everything she needs to make a showstopping entrance. With its tropical foliage, sparkling pool and fountain, and archways resplendent with signature ironwork, this “jewel in the crown” of the property can accommodate up to 150 people for a ceremony and up to 300 for a reception. Brides can make a dramatic entrance into a courtyard ceremony by descending from the antique iron elevator, walking through the promenade of the courtyard, and traversing a walkway that cuts directly across the center of the pool.
“Our brides can literally walk on water,” laughs Valenzuela. “It’s quite a sight.”
Brides seeking a larger venue can take advantage of the hotel’s ballroom area that can accommodate up to 550 guests.

The Celebration
From a formal, seated dinner, to a family-style buffet, or butler passed appetizers, the talented team at LAZO at Estancia Del Norte is ready to serve up a mouthwatering menu. Led by celebrated Chef Heather Nanez, LAZO is a fusion of the historical authenticity and Texas touches so prevalent throughout the property. While the chef-driven restaurant menu features upscale southwestern cuisine served in a fine-dining atmosphere, the catering crew can work with the bride and groom to design a customized menu that reflects their taste and style.

The Stay
The beautifully appointed rooms at Estancia Del Norte are an extension of the property’s careful attention to detail. Large bathrooms, courtyard views, and plenty of amenities create a “home away from home,” feel for guests. The bride and groom are treated to a complimentary suite when they host the wedding at the hotel, and guests who block 10 or more rooms not only receive a discounted rate, they earn Hilton honors points for the bride and groom to use.
With so much to offer its guests, it is easy to see why “the place where San Antonio celebrates,” is quickly becoming the place where San Antonio celebrates love. Watch their Bridal Buzz Episode to see much more about Estancia Del Norte.
