One dream changed the life of Lizzette Suarez, owner and lead designer of from His garden Event Planning & Floral Décor. It was during a church service about 15 years ago when her pastor encouraged the audience to write down a major goal or dream on an index card. “For a while my husband had been encouraging me to follow my dreams; he witnessed firsthand how much I enjoyed floral design”.
Today, in addition to floral design, from His garden plans and coordinates wedding and corporate events. “I love being a part of any special occasion; working with a bride and groom’s special day of love, commitment and family.” Suarez says.
Emphasizing The Details
When Suarez meets with her clients for their complimentary consultation, she focuses on “the reason for the event and what they envision”.
“Whether I meet with an engaged couple or a corporate event planner, my goal is the same, to capture details and read between their lines. If I am meeting with a couple about floral design, I ask them to share how they met and if a specific flower or color has a personal connection to them. It is important for me to discover how they envision the end result and what aspect of the event I should emphasize.”
One of the ways Suarez exceeds client expectations is the exclusivity she provides in her services, “I attend each event during delivery and set up to make sure the event is executed to our high standards and that our clients receive our personal attention to detail.”
Planning – Personal Involvement
Suarez gives the same dedicated attention to her planning services. Packages are available for full and partial planning as well as planning 40 days prior to the wedding day. Suarez says that working with her clients 40 days before their event rather than 30, is another way her company stands out from other event planning services.
“From the initial consultation to the wedding day or corporate event, I’m very much involved. I assist my couples by connecting them with vendors who will help them achieve their vision. My services include some vendor meetings as well, all to ensure their event flows smoothly.”
With the support and love of Daniel, her husband of over 21 years, Suarez has accomplished many of her life’s personal and professional goals including a master’s degree in organizational development. As an entrepreneur she also works to give back to the community. She is a board member of the National Association of Women Business Owners San Antonio Chapter.
“Whether, I’m planning the couple’s entire event or executing a corporate project, I’m honored to be a part of making their vision come true”.
